Caitlin joins Micro-X as a graduate engineer in the Mechanical Engineering team having recently completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Mechanical) and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at Flinders University. As part of her work integrated learning, Caitlin was successful in winning a scholarship in Singapore where she developed an EEG program called ‘Healthy Brain’ with an accompanying phone application; designed for early detection of Alzheimer’s and other degenerative neurological diseases.
She has strong skills in biomechanics, medical design and EEG data processing. Since joining Micro-X, she has become highly knowledgeable in mechanical design and integration of ultra-high vacuum processing equipment. Caitlin enjoys solving problems and stretching herself on new challenges.
