Micro-X develops and manufactures customisable Nano Electronic X-ray (NEX) Technology platforms for our customers to create products that positively impact lives.

We design and manufacture high-voltage X-ray tubes, high-voltage connectors and miniaturised high-voltage generators to meet customer specifications.

Imaging chain

The imaging chain is the heart of Micro-X’s innovations. Each part of the imaging chain works together to give high image quality at fast scan speeds while keeping dose low. Micro-X designs custom imaging chains for our customers in which all parts have been created to work cohesively, delivering reliable high-voltage monoblock or multi-source X-ray.

Our generators are manufactured in-house using a unique process, allowing for miniaturisation of high-voltage power supplies. The combination of our smaller and lighter NEX X-ray tubes and our miniaturised generators paves the way for new and more mobile high-voltage X-ray products.

World-first imaging solutions

Micro-X is developing world-first deep learning models for multi-tube CT imaging.

Adaptive deep scatter correction facilitates the use of cone beam CT with a curved detector panel by reducing imaging noise.

Convolutional neural networks increase CT image quality in reconstruction.
