When on the move, the small footprint and collapsible arm allows a clear line of site, with intuitive featherlight drive making it simple to navigate tight hospital spaces.

The Rover is designed to be mobile, excelling in challenging environments including humanitarian field hospitals. Optional ruggedised extras include a rounded plate for higher clearance.
Its long-lasting Lithium Iron-Phosphate battery means the Rover can run without mains power for up to 7 hours. The fast-charging batteries take just 1.5 hours to fully charge.
With a nudge button, fingertip collimator and LBD controls on the handles, the Rover is designed to be simple to use without a heavy x-ray tube to position. It is fully DICOM compliant. Because of the device’s light weight, the Rover has an ultra-quiet motorless drive.

Thanks to Micro-X’s patented NEX Technology, electrons can be efficiently produced and harvested from the cold cathode carbon nanotube. Thermionic cathode technology requires very high heating of a tungsten filament to release electrons in a 360-degree direction. Thermionic tubes are therefore inefficient, losing up to 90% of energy generated into heat.
