Dr. Alexander Gosling

Alexander has been working in the field of process and product development and related research and development for 50 years. He was a founding director of Invetech and was part of the management team that led Invetech to a public listing (as Vision Systems) and then to its acquisition by Danaher Corp for $800M. He currently works in the area of technology commercialisation, advising universities, mentoring start-ups and sitting on the Boards of early stage companies. Alexander is an engineer, with an Honours degree from Cambridge University. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Technology and Engineering, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia and a Governor of the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Swinburne University and made a Member of The Order of Australia for services to engineering. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
