Louis has an advanced diploma in mechanical engineering, 6 years at Clipsal as a trade injection moulding toolmaker and over 17 years of experience as a senior mechanical designer in product development, energy & resource, and defence industry sectors.
Having worked for a number of companies including consulting group Cornell Design, Dyson (UK), Seeley International, Worley Parsons, GHD and Cadgile, Louis has extensive experience designing products from concept through to final product hand over into manufacturing. He is deeply experienced in a huge array of conventional and modern fabrication techniques. He has high attention to detail and a keen focus on achieving efficiency, repeatability, and ease of manufacture into the production process. Along with design, his hands on skills are frequently utilised to build and develop prototypes, test systems and assembly fixtures.
