Mia is a Mechanical Engineer working on the CT Brain Scanner Project. In 2020, Mia completed her 20-week work placement at Micro-X working on the Brain CT Scanner, developing imaging algorithms that significantly improve image quality and allow small pools of blood in the brain to be imaged. She has remained at Micro-X ever since, working across disciplines, and completed her Honours project with the company, receiving First Class Honours for her work.
After graduating with a Biomedical Engineering Degree from Flinders University, Mia joined the Mechanical Team at Micro-X. Since then, she has been actively involved in the ongoing development of the CT Brain Scanner Project.
