Mike graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2019 and a Bachelor of Music in 2018. During his undergraduate, Mike focused his study on medical imaging and informatics and developed interests in biomedical and digital signal processing, machine learning, and medical device development. For his senior capstone project, he helped develop a mobile application that worked with a Bluetooth-enabled EMG to augment treatment of urinary incontinence in paediatric patients.
Since 2019, Mike worked as a software engineer, developing mobile and web applications for large telecom and tech companies.
Mike joined Micro-X Inc to pursue his passion for medical imaging and aims to further develop his software and biomedical engineering skills, while creating cutting-edge imaging solutions.
