The Navy League’s Sea- Air- Space is the largest maritime expo in the United States. Sea Air Space brings together the US defence industry and key military decision-makers together for three days, 1-4 August 2021 in Maryland, Baltimore.
Micro-X will exhibit together with some of Australia’s leading defence companies as part of Team Defence Australia, including SPEE3D, Fortifyedge, EM Solutions and CEA Technologies. Team Defence Australia will be helping to assist participating companies to gain access to new markets with their export-ready products. The expo is attended by US military personnel, Foreign and US Government representatives, Defence industry companies and Navy League Members.
On the Team Defence Australia Stand, Micro-X will be exhibiting its award-winning Rover Military X-ray machine. The Rover Military unit has been specifically designed for the unique needs of deployed military and other humanitarian aid applications. Deployed facilities have limited access to hospital-grade X-ray machines and often use small animal veterinary equipment as a substitute. By using Micro-X’s carbon nanotube technology, the Rover Military x-ray machine offers full hospital-grade diagnostic imaging capability in a package around 100kg.

Also featured on the stand will be Micro-X’s prototype IED X-ray Camera. Micro-X is currently developing an IED X-ray camera providing unrivalled Rapid Assessment X-ray Capability. Using backscatter imaging technology, the IED X-ray Camera takes images to detect threats such as bombs, drugs, and other organic material. The system has been designed with an agnostic approach to integration on robotic platforms and can be deployed independently as a Carry Forward System with no requirements to deploy an imaging panel.
Micro-X’s US Business Manager, Ryan McClenaghan, and CEO of Micro-X Inc, Brian Gonzales will attend the event and will provide expert knowledge on the Micro-X products being showcased.
