Dylan joined the Micro-X team in early 2021 bringing with him years of experience in product design-development, design of mechanisms, tribology, value engineering and design for manufacture. He has designed for machining, injection moulding, 3D printing, profile cutting, die casting and covered products from histology, bright field scanning and 3D stem cell printing to trauma assessment equipment.
Dylan worked as a mechanical engineer on medical products for 8 years prior to joining Micro-X. First in the sustainment team of Leica Biosystems and then in product development at Motherson Medical. He also completed a PhD focussed on modelling and simulation of a kite wind generator.
